Germany rules out Nord Stream 2 launch even in tough situation

BERLIN, Aug 8 (PRIME) -- German Chancellor Olaf Scholz rules out the launch of Russia's Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, even if the situation in the next few months is tough, spokesman for the government Steffen Hebestreit said on Monday.

The official added that the pipeline was not certified and was not undergoing certification for later use in gas transportation.
